Celebrating an icon
Meet the 60th Anniversary Edition, a joyful revival of our first diving watch from 1965.
At the time, the world was in the midst of an explosion of creativity. With its extravagant dial design and adventurous profile, this diving watch captured the spirit of the times.
A new era in international travel and exploration. Recreational diving was simply an expression of that spirit – scuba diving, as it became known.
Divers needed reliable and legible watches for their underwater adventures and so Oris created its first diving watch. It had an extravagantly designed dial, luminescent numerals and the promise of high levels of performance. The year was 1965.

Today we celebrate six decades of Oris diving watches with the 60th Anniversary Edition. The new watch revisits the look of the 1965 original, complete with the same dial design and details, including the retro Oris logo. The rebirth of an icon.
Today we are pleased to introduce the 60th Anniversary Edition. It celebrates the original design of that diving watch with bold luminescent numerals, domed sapphire crystal and a bi-directional rotating bezel. We’ve even brought back our retro Oris logo.
