This Seiko watch celebrates the modern reinterpretation of the 1965 Seiko.
The SPB501 Special Edition features a dial inspired by the ocean, the shimmering light and the undulating surface seen from the seabed with an emerald green gradient.
In addition to its steel bracelet, it features a fabric strap made of nylon from recycled fishing nets.
It is carefully woven using the traditional Japanese technique called Seichu, commonly used for kimono obi belts.
The bracelet features a new clasp designed for comfort and ease of use, adjusting in six steps, each approximately 2.5 mm in increments, giving a total range of approximately 15 mm. It allows for a comfortable fit at all times, adapting to changes in wrist size during diving and in everyday life.
