Seiko fans affectionately call this design 'Sumo' due to its round and voluminous silhouette, its large case with a diameter of 45mm, and the 12-hour marker that resembles a Sumo wrestler's hairstyle.
The dial design is inspired by a diver's underwater view as the sun reflects and shines off the surface of the water.
The light blue minute hand and the scale on the bezel allow for high readability in deep water.
It is powered by a mechanical movement, Caliber 6R35, which offers a 70-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 200m. The case is made of stainless steel with a super hard coating.
The bracelet comes with a newly refined Diver buckle design. It has sapphire crystal and a date display on the dial.
